Clements will fill Vacancy\
West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice has picked Republican Charles Clements to fill the state Senate vacancy left by Agriculture Commissioner Kent Leonhardt. The governor’s office says Clements is a former member of the state House of Delegates. He currently serves as executive director of the West Virginia Route 2 and I-68 Authority and was on the governor’s transition policy committee on transportation. Leonhardt, a Republican, left his Senate seat by winning the agriculture commissioner race.
