Coal Supporters Rally

Coal industry supporters took the opporunity with President Obama in town Wednesday to rally to protest federal policies. The West Virginia Coal Forum organized the event at the State Capitol. Coal advocates say Obama’s policies have been bad for the industry, resulting in the loss of thousands of jobs. U.S. Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, state legislative leaders, miners and mining industry supporters were all part of the rally, ahead of the President’s visit to Charleston to address drug problems.
