College Tuition

In the past 15 years, the cost of college tuition in West Virginia has jumped nearly 150-percent. That is one of the findings from a report released this week by the West Virginia Center on Budget and Policy. The higher education study reported that years of budget cuts have led to higher debt for students, higher tuition rates and a reduction of federal assistance. West Virginia has the second-highest student loan default rate in the country.
