Commissioners Approve Baseball and Pool Repairs

Kanahwa County Commissioners okayed some repairs and improvements this week. Boosters asked for repair money for the Capital High School baseball field after a work truck tore up the field when it was damp, and commissioners said yes to the fix that could cost around $20,000. Commissioners also approved spending $100,000 to fix leaks and install a new filtration system at the Shawnee Park Pool.
