Community Center Will Get a New Roof
The North Charleston Community Center will see some upgrades after the Charleston City Council decides to move ahead with roof repairs. The council adopted a resolution this week to enter an agreement with Fairfax Incorporated to fix the leaky roof at the Community Center. It’s another overdue repair that’s been on the list. Earlier this year the city set aside about $400,000 to fix the roof at the MLK Rec Center. The work at the North Charleston Community Center will cost about $165,000.
