Concealed carry permits drawing demand

Concealed carry gun permits are a hot ticket in West Virginia. Between January first and the end of March, some 13 thousand state residents signed up to get one. Last year, more than 32 thousand permits were doled out, leaving the state with just under 150 thousand concealed carry permits in all. While Kanawha County is near the bottom in percentages of residents with a permit, it’s at the top in raw numbers due to it being the largest county in the state.
