Construction Delays Keep Wayne County School From Opening

Construction delays will keep a school from opening in Wayne County. Most of the students in Wayne County headed back to class Thursday, but those who attend the new Crum Pre-K-8th grade will have to wait while crews put on the finishing touches. The old school was built in 1938, and the new one to replace it will open up September 5th. Summer rains and soil problems caused the delays.
