Cooling Stations Open Again Today

Cooling stations have been set up in Charleston to escape the hot weather. The cooling centers will be open again today at Aldersgate United Methodist Church on Sissonville Drive and the Tyler Mountain Volunteer Fire Department, according to a news release from the Kanawha County Commission. Hours will be noon to 9 p.m. at the cooling stations, and Charleston city pools are open today too with free admission. The excessive heat watch will continues today with the heat index expected to reach 105.
