Coonskin Park Pool Could Be Open Year Round

The Coonskin Park pool will stay open year round if the Kanawha County Parks and Recreation department can find a good way to install a removable dome that would cover the pool in the colder months. Other cities are making it work, and they’ll consult them first before moving ahead with plans here. The YMCA would be the ones paying for the dome and operating the Coonskin Park pool. Nothing is final at this point.
