Copper thief arrested on Turnpike

A man is accused of stealing copper wire from warning signs along the Turnpike. Twenty-eight-year-old Adam Layton is charged with copper theft. Police say he stole the copper wire that runs under the interstate and connects to interstate message boards. Damages are estimated at over 50-thousand-dollars.
