Crews Are Ready to Plow Roads

State Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management director Jimmy Gianato (juh-NET) says his biggest concern with the upcoming storm is power outages. Gianato says residents can look for information on shelters and power outages through the state’s Facebook page. State highways crews are on standby to salt and plow roads. Department of Transportation spokesman Brent Walker says more than 1,000 trucks are ready to get to work as the storm arrives, focusing on primary routes and then secondary ones.
