Cross Lanes Woman Pleads Guilty in Christmas Package Thefts

A Cross Lanes woman has received probation after pleading guilty to stealing Christmas packages and a wreath from a porch. Deborah Davis pleaded guilty on Wednesday to attempted nighttime burglary and was sentenced to probation. Police say the items were taken from the front porch of a home in Cross Lanes on Nov. 30, 2014. Davis told the judge that she was emotionally upset and had been drinking. The incident was captured on surveillance video, which the homeowner posted on his Facebook page. Police say Davis came forward and told authorities she was the person in the video.
