Day 9 of teacher walkout

West Virginia public schools are closed again today. A conference committee yesterday could not reach a compromise on teacher pay raises. The House bill gives teachers a five percent raise, and the Senate bill lowered the increase to four percent. The committee will reconvene this morning at nine.
