Former Marshall football player Dennis Foley says the 1970 plane crash that killed the entire team was devastating. Foley spoke about the tragedy for the first time yesterday during the yearly ceremony to honor those lost and said he will never get over what happened. Foley had a football injury and did not travel with the team the week of the crash and it saved his life.
