Deputy Injured

A sheriff’s deputy is recovering after being injured in a courtroom fight. The scuffle started after Freddie Rose tried to escape. The officer hurt his leg and was tended to by EMS. Rose was in the Elkins courtroom on a probation violation, and now he faces additional charges of attempted escape and battery of a police officer.
