Detectives Make Drug Arrest after Long Investigation

A search warrant in Hurricane this week leads to a drug arreest. The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office and Putnam County Sheriff’s Office drug investigation units had been conducting covert operations at the home, and with the search warrant, found heroin, marijuana, and guns. Sgt. B-D Humphreys says one of those guns was stolen from a vehicle in 2014. 50-year old James Adkins from Saint Albans was arrested for possession with intent to deliver controlled substances and arraigned. More court dates are pending.
