Dogs found living in deplorable conditions

A Fayette County woman is facing animal cruelty charges after deputies found several dogs living in deplorable conditions. Amanda Jones, of Scarbro, is charged with seven counts of animal cruelty. Deputies found two dogs and a litter of puppies without food, water or shelter. Two puppies were dead, and one dog was chained to a tree. Animal Control rescued seven dogs in all.
