Domestic Disturbance Leads to Arson Charge

A man is facing arson charges after a disturbance on Galena Road near Walker Drive in the Sissonville area Sunday night. Kanawha County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 35-year old Nathan Oxley who had been fighting with his girlfriend and others, and had a large knife. There was also a house fire, and the WV State Fire Marshal’s Office ruled it arson. Oxley was charged with first degree arson and taken to South Central Regional Jail to be arraigned.
