Donation drawing scutiny

A West Virginia media company executive is drawing scrutiny from Democrats after contributing $250,000 to the Republican Governors Association. Bray Cary, president and CEO of West Virginia Media Holdings, made the donation in April. Through May, the Republican Governors Association had spent almost $1.1 million to aid state Senate President Bill Cole’s bid for governor. Cole faces billionaire Democratic businessman Jim Justice.
