Dr. Rahul Gupta is Leaving West Virginia for a New Job

The commissioner of the state Bureau for Public Health is leaving state government to take a job with the March of Dimes. Dr. Rahul Gupta will become the senior vice president and chief medical and health officer and will work out of Washington, D.C. Gupta’s resignation is effective Nov. 5. Gupta was the executive director of the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department in 2009.
