Drowning victim identified

Officials have released the name of the 17-year-old who drowned in the Elk River while swimming with friends. The body of Cody McCallister was recovered Thursday night. Police say he was trying to swim across the river when he got into trouble and asked for help. Friends and family gathered at the former Herbert Hoover High School to remember McCallister.
