DUI Checkpoint Set for Saturday
Heads up for drivers…This Saturday evening from 7:00 p.m. to midnight, the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office will hold a high visibility sobriety checkpoint near Elkview on U.S. Route 119. Deputies randomly conduct checkpoints and targeted patrols throughout the year to target impaired drivers , with a zero tolerance policy. And there’s an app for your smartphone….The West Virginia Governor’s Highway Safety Program and Mobile Life Solutions have created a free app to help fight drinking and driving.
