Efforts to restore West Virginia’s elk population

Seventeen additional elk will be added to the herd at the Tomblin Wildlife area in Southern West Virginia. It’s part of the state’s elk restoration effort. The elk should arrive by mid-February. An additional 70 elk will arrive from Arizona later this year.
