EMT’s headed to assist with Irma

A group of 23 emergency medical responders and ten ambulances are headed south to assist with the expected devastation of Hurricane Irma. The team will be staged initially in the Tallahassee area, and their first assignment is to transport those in nursing centers and hospitals to safe areas. The last major storm they were deployed to, was Super Storm Sandy.
