Every Student Succeeds Act under scrutiny

West Virginia’s “Every Student Succeeds Act,” is being called into question. The federal program allows states to create their own standards policies and goals. The U.S. Department of Education has asked for additional information from several states. West Virginia’s English language proficiency is coming under scrutiny. The Department expects a reply by next week.
