Fayette County High Schools to Consolidate
The West Virginia Board of Education has approved a new plan to consolidate four Fayette County high schools into a new high school. The board voted on the plan on Wednesday. Fayette schools Superintendent Terry George says his district will now request funding for the new high school from the state School Building Authority, and a decision is likely in December. George says the total cost will range from $52 million to $58 million.
