Fayette County Woman is Killed in Home Invasion

Fayette County deputies are investigating after a woman was shot and killed during an early morning home invasion Sunday in the Oak Hill area. Two men wearing ski masks forced their way into the home, and one of the men shot the 48-year-old woman in the chest with a handgun, according to deputies. Both men fled on foot and didn’t try to take anything after forcing their way in and shooting the woman without saying anything. Two other people in the house were unharmed.
