Fayetteville officer hurt in car crash

A Fayetteville police officer is recovering following a car crash. A pickup truck hit the police cruiser Friday afternoon at the intersection of Route 19 and Hinkle Road. The officer is in stable condition at a local hospital. No one in the pickup was hurt.
