Finances Scrutinized at Clay Co. Development
The fallout continues after a racist tweet by the Clay County Development Director in November. Pamela Ramsey Taylor has been on leave since it happened, but plans to return to work December 23rd. And now the Gazette-Mail reports the West Virginia Bureau of Senior Services and Appalachian Area Agency on Aging employees are investigating financial issues regarding the Clay County Development Center. The agency provides senior services and financial assistance to elderly and low-income residents. Tips have come in from concerned folks about how finances and operations are handled at the CCDC, and those are being investigated. If issues come up , theh state may pull its contract with the CCDC.
