Five people injured in construction zone crash

A crash in the construction zone on I-64 sent five people to the hospital, including a DOH worker. Two vehicles collided around 12:30 Monday at mile marker 31. A driver had a medical emergency in the work zone and hit a DOH vehicle with the worker inside. Four people were treated for minor injuries. The driver who caused the crash is in serious condition.
