Fix Charleston Program is a Success for the KCHA
Fix Charleston, a program of Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association, has spayed or neutered more than 2,000 owned pets since opening on June 7. The veterinary clinic provides affordable spay/neuter, vaccines. Fix Charleston also provides low-cost heartworm prevention, flea and tick prevention, and many other wellness services to anyone in the region. The goal is to end the crisis that is pet overpopulation in Appalachia, and soon they’re going to be spaying and neutering from the hubs right where people live, work and play.
