Flood watch in effect for most of the area

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for most of the region. The watch is in effect through Friday evening. The weather service says the ground is already saturated and streams and rivers are running high, so rain has the potential to cause flooding. Forecasters are calling for another 1 to 3 inches of rain.
