Flooding a Big Problem in Putnam County

After Monday’s rains, flooding became a big problem in several places, including Putnam County. The Hurricane Fire Department says it responded to a water rescue Monday afternoon in the 2700 block of Main Street, after the driver of a truck got stuck in high water in an underpass. The driver was okay, but water had reached his headlights. Main Street in Hurricane was also closed for a time at Route 34 because of a downed tree on power lines. Gov.
