Former George Washington Player Heads to the NFL

Charleston native Ryan Switzer is headed to the NFL.

Switzer was twice named the West Virginia Gatorade High School Player of the Year at George Washington High and played college football at North Carolina. The Dallas Cowboys selected Switzer with the 133rd overall pick in the fourth round of the NFL draft. The Gazette-Mail reports Switzer said he did not know when he would report to Dallas — his agent was working out those details.
