Free Medical Clinic is Coming This Fall
A two-day free medical clinic for West Virginia flood victims and others in need is being planned this fall in Kanawha County. The clinic will be held Oct. 22 and 23 at Elkview Middle School hosted by Charleston-based West Virginia Health Right, which provides free medical, dental and vision health services. Remote Area Medical, a nonprofit group based in Rockford, Tennessee, will run the clinic and patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis and must choose between dental or vision services at the same visit. They’re looking for volunteers to help run the clinic.
