Fugitive arrested after 6 hour search

A Roane County fugitive is in custody after a six hour search in the Elk River. David White was on home confinement, but removed his ankle monitor and fled. He slipped into the river around noon and search crews found him under a bridge two hours later. When police arrived, White fled on foot and was finally captured four hours later.
