Funding to WV

West Virginia is getting 17-million dollars in disaster recovery funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The funding was announced Friday and will be used to build the state back up after this past summer’s flooding. Lawmakers say the money is an important first installment to support ongoing efforts to rebuild homes, businesses, schools and communities.
