Governonr Justice proposes natural gas tax to fund PEIA

Governor Jim Justice urged teachers to go back to the classroom. He held a series of town hall meetings in the northern part of the state yesterday. At a meeting in Wheeling he proposed a special session to explore a possible severance tax on natural gas that might provide an additional source to fund public employee’s health insurance
