Grant money

More than a dozen-and-a-half historic preservation projects across West Virginia are getting nearly 450-thousand dollars in grant money. Governor Tomblin announced the funding Wednesday, while saying keeping the locations in good shape is important for both cultural and economic development. The funding comes through State Development Grants and allows communities to maintain character, boost tourism and preserve the state’s legacy.
