Grants for fire deptws

Federal funds will help two West Virginia volunteer fire departments fight fires. The federal Assistance to Firefighters Grants will be going to the Prichard Volunteer Fire Department in Wayne County and the Barboursville Volunteer Fire Department in Cabell County. The Prichard department will use a little more than 46-thousand-dollars for a power lift and more than 800-thousand-dollars in self-contained breathing gear will be purchased for Barboursville firefighters.
