Health Dept. calls emergency meeting to discuss Needle Exchange Progarm

The needle exchange program was the center of discussion at an emergency meeting at the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department last night. The program was suspended Monday after the department said they didn’t have time to comply with new rules. Board members say some of the new regulations are not realistic, and they feel the goal is to eliminate the program completely.
