Hermine put a damper on travel

The threat of rain and cloudy skies from Tropical Storm Hermine [[ her-MEEN ]] may have kept several West Virginians from taking a trip to the beach this Labor Day. According to the state Parkways Authority, traffic on the West Virginia Turnpike was down slightly from last year’s numbers. The fewer cars on the highway meant there were no major delays reported.
