High School graduaton may require fewer credits

High school graduation may soon require fewer credits. The “Gazette” reports that the West Virginia Board of Education is introducing a plan that would lower the credits needed to graduate from 24 down to 21. The Board also agreed to additional changes to social studies mandates and the grading scale system.
