High-speed chase ends in crash on I-77

A high-speed chase on the Turnpike near Sharon ended with a crash on I-77 in Kanawha County. Police were involved in a pursuit of a vehicle that was part of an armed robbery in Raleigh County. Speeds reached up to 120 miles-per-hour. The suspect crashed into another vehicle near the Kanawha Boulevard exit. Horace Johnson was arrested for robbing a person in Beckley and stealing an SUV.
