Highways Need Friction
A combination of wet roads and drivers in a hurry to get a start on the weekend appears to be the reason why Interstate 64 was such a mess last Friday evening near Institute. The Division of Highways think they might have a solution that will help. That solution will be applied to the highway to provide some extra friction, and hopefully make the pavement less slick. The area between mile marker 40 and 54 has seen more than 400 wet road related accidents over the last three years.
