Home bursts into flames during SWAT standoff

A body was found in a burning home in East Bank after a SWAT standoff Monday afternoon. It started as a domestic dispute; a man fired a gun at his girlfriend’s vehicle. During a standoff with SWAT there was an explosion in the First Avenue house. Firefighters put out the flames and found a body inside. The state Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the body.
