Homeless Woman Arrested for Breaking Into Office

Charleston police arrested a homeless woman who they say ransacked an East End office. 32-year old Jennifer Sutherland is charged with breaking and entering after a maintenance employee at a building on Washington Street East found her sleeping in an office. Charleston Police Department said she was in possession of a needle and drug paraphernalia and said she had used meth before going into the office, and had ransacked the office space.
