Hospital Aims to Decrease ER Wait Times

One hospital vows to cut down on wait times at the ER. Thomas Health System has announced some changes that they hope will reduce the hour or so wait, and the changes include adding staff, and educating patients about whether they really and truly need to be at the ER. Some trips to the emergency room aren’t for true emergencies and could be handled at urgent care or at a family doctor’s office.
