Hundreds of ballots not counted in Kanawha County

About 17-hundred ballots weren’t counted in the general election on Tuesday. Officials learned Friday morning that nearly 20 precincts had tabulation issues, including polling places in Elkview, Pinch, Clendenin and Kanawha City. Kanawha County officials are investigating what happened. The ballots in question are most likely to affect two close legislative races. All the ballots will be counted, and an audit will be held Tuesday morning.
