Hurricane Wants Residents to Clean up Trash

Hurricane wants a cleaner city, and it’s got rules in place to deal with people who don’t clean up their yards. The City Council adopted an ordinance to get rid of trash, and if residents have unsightly junk in their yard, they’ll get a notice to clean it up. If the homeowner doesn’t do anything about it the city can remove the debris and bill the homeowner for it or put a lien on the property.
